Alexander, the dad behind TeeCult

Hi, I'm Alexander — the dad behind TeeCult.

I grew up in the 90s and early 2000s with pixel platformers, falling-block puzzles, the snake game on an old phone and classic beat-'em-ups. As a teenager I got hooked on strategy games and spent way too many nights building empires.

Today the controllers in our house belong mostly to my three boys — 16, 12 and 9. Between them they play just about everything: shooters, block-building survival worlds, online sandbox games with friends, whatever's new on PC and console, and co-op games where two players have to work together (or blame each other when it goes wrong).

I don't play as much as they do. But every now and then I pick up a controller, lose spectacularly, and get coached from the couch by my 9-year-old. Those moments — the trash talk, the "one more try", the respawns, the "five more minutes" — are where most of our designs come from.

TeeCult is a small family shop: me, my wife Kate and our three boys. Every design is our own: no copied art, no licensed logos, just jokes and characters every gamer knows from real life — lag, ranked matches, side quests, the gamer dad and the gamer mom.

Our shirts are printed on demand in the USA on soft Gildan Softstyle cotton. Nothing sits in a warehouse, and every order is made just for you.

Got a question, a design idea, or your best gaming excuse? Write to info@teecultshop.com — we read every message.
